In March 2021, Graham joined the Jonathan Jackson Foundation as a non-Executive Director as well as working with the Nairobi City Stars football club to further develop its vision.
Graham was, until December 2020, the Regional CEO of Aga Khan Foundation, East Africa (AKFEA) covering Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania country offices. He was responsible for ensuring that the Foundation delivered quality programs in fulfilling its mission of changing the lives of the communities served in the region as well as managing its substantial property portfolio. He was previously the Senior Vice-President/Chief Global Programs Officer in charge of global programs at Pact Inc., USA.
Graham has over 25 years’ experience working with vulnerable populations in Afghanistan, Cambodia, DRC, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Pakistan, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda and Vietnam. He has a wealth of expertise in areas of humanitarian assistance, education, HIV prevention, livelihoods, gender, economic reconstruction, resource management, change management in a variety of contexts, extensive strategic planning knowledge, effective fundraising from statutory, trusts and public sources and working in partnerships and alliances.
In addition, Graham has impacted development globally through publications, the media and senior representational work with governments, the United Nations and academic institutions.
Graham likes to read, write, hike, run and eat as well as pursue a number of sporting interests.
